Senior Director Corporate Relations
Randall Gentry is senior director for corporate relations for Institutional Advancement where he helps corporate partners achieve their philanthropic goals by identifying meaningful engagement opportunities, developing long-term relationships with executive leadership teams and evaluating strategic priorities that strengthen the shared vision for impact between corporations and the Texas Tech University System.
Before joining the Texas Tech University System, Gentry helped develop a foundation grant-seeking team at Susan G. Komen and served as director of foundation relations at The University of Texas at Arlington.
Active in philanthropy throughout the state of Texas, Gentry is president of the Texas Tech Alumni Association’s Pride Network. He also serves on the board and is chair of the Grant Action Group of Texas Pride Impact Funds, a statewide community foundation supporting the needs of LGBTQ Texans. Previously, Gentry served as board chair of a branch of The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth and on several young professionals boards in Houston and Dallas.
Gentry holds an undergraduate degree in marketing from the Rawls College of Business and a master’s in sociology from Texas Tech University. He is a Texas Tech athletics fanatic and can be frequently found in the stands cheering on the Red Raiders.
