Matt Owens is development officer for the Texas Tech University University College and also serves as regional development officer for the Southeast United States.

Previously, Owens was assistant director for annual giving programs for the Texas Tech University System. Prior to joining Texas Tech, he worked as a personal and business banker for Citibank.

Owens holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Political Science from Texas Christian University.
