Director Research & Prospect Management and Principal Gifts
Emily Guy is director of research and prospect management and principal gifts for Institutional Advancement, where she leads a team responsible for analyzing and reporting on strategic information to advance the philanthropic success of the Texas Tech University System and its universities.
Guy began her career as a graduate assistant for Administration and Finance at Texas Tech University. She later joined the Texas Tech University System, where she managed the proposal submission process for local nonprofit foundations. Active with Junior League of Lubbock, Guy serves as chair of the Community Focus Area Committee, organizing opportunities for members to volunteer in the Lubbock community. She also serves on the advisory board of Texas Tech University’s Center for Adolescent Resiliency.
Guy graduated with both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Tech University in 2010 and 2013, respectively. She and her husband, Wiley Guy, who is also a Texas Tech University graduate, are both proud Red Raiders. They reside in Lubbock with their daughter, Raegan.
