The Burkhart Center for Autism Education & Research includes a public art installation over the main entrance entitled Summer Tree Autumn Tree by Corinne Ulmann of Brooklyn, New York. The work features tree branches and leaves that were hand-painted onto double-paned exterior windows, which were then sandblasted with a brick pattern, after firing, to complement the exterior of the building.
