Tom Stacy

Tom Stacy is founder and president of T. Stacy & Associates and co-founder of CapRidge Partners LLC, a fully-integrated operating company located in Austin, Texas.

Stacy founded T. Stacy & Associates in 1994 as a fully integrated commercial real estate firm specializing in leasing, development, acquisition and property management. In 2012, he partnered with Steve LeBlanc to found CapRidge Partners, a vertically integrated commercial real estate operator, investor and fund manager that combines the operating platform and history of T-Stacy & Associates with LeBlanc’s institutional investment expertise. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the firm serves select growth markets in the Southeast, Southwest and Mountain West regions of the United States. Above all else, CapRidge Partners is dedicated to providing superior service to its tenants, clients, partners and investors.

For more than 20 years, Stacy has been instrumental in acquiring, managing and enhancing the value of office buildings, mixed-use projects and hotels. His keen sense for reading the market have enabled T. Stacy & Associates and CapRidge Partners to successfully purchase, reposition and sell numerous assets throughout the United States.

With a demonstrated record of success and dedication to community service, Stacy has been a vocal supporter of economic development in downtown Austin and his local community. In 1997 and 2009, Stacy served as chairman of the Downtown Austin Alliance property improvement district, an organization seeking to make the downtown area cleaner, safer and more economically vibrant. The group honored Stacy in 1999 with the prestigious Individual IMPACT Award for his contributions to downtown Austin, particularly the inspirational renovation of the historic Scarbrough Building and Littlefield Complex. In 2001, Downtown Austin Alliance recognized his firm with the Project IMPACT Award for the restoration of the historic Stephen F. Austin Inter-Continental Hotel. In 2008, Concordia University honored him with the second annual Excellence in Leadership Award, which honors a Christian leader. In 2015, the Urban Land Institute Austin presented him with its inaugural Vision Award for his leadership and lasting contributions to the Central Texas region.

A charter member of Austin Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon, Stacy was instrumental in the construction of the organization’s campus as chairman of the Building and Design Committee during two building campaigns.

Active in his community, Stacy is past chairman of the Texas Association of Realtors Political Action Committee as well as past president of Green Doors, formerly Community Partnership for the Homeless, a non-profit organization that provides housing for the homeless and underprivileged. In addition to serving on the Texas Tech Foundation board of directors, he is chairman of Visit Austin Foundation and serves as a board member of the Concordia University Foundation. He is also past president of Preservation Austin, former chairman of the Downtown Austin Alliance and a past member of the Texas Business Leadership Council.

Originally from Levelland, Texas, Stacy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from Texas Tech University. He is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and a member of the Central Texas Commercial Association of Real Estate Professionals and the Urban Land Institute. An accomplished aircraft pilot, he holds the highest level of certification, Airline Transport Pilot, and is rated for multiple jet types.
