Lea Wright

Lea Wright is co-owner of American Glass Distributors, a family owned and operated company that has grown since its founding in 1972 to become one of the largest independent wholesale distributor of replacement auto glass and supplies in the southern United States.

A native of Lubbock and longtime Amarillo civic leader, Wright has been involved with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center’s Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health since its inception and currently serves on its National Advisory Board. She was the first chairwoman of the organization’s community advisory board in Amarillo and co-chaired the organization’s Power of the Purse event in 2012. She also served on the fundraising committee for Texas Tech University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, currently under construction in Amarillo.

Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Texas Tech University.
