Dr. Keh-Shew Lu
Established in 1939, the Texas Tech Foundation supports and promotes all colleges, schools, programs and campuses of the Texas Tech University System.
Dr. Keh-Shew Lu retired from his position as senior vice president of Texas Instruments and manager of Worldwide Mixed-Signal Products - Semiconductor Group in 2001.
From 1996 to 1998, Lu was manager of Texas Instrument’s worldwide memory business. He has also served as president of Texas Instruments Asia.
Lu is a chairman of the Asia American Citizen’s Council and a member of the Advisory Board of Southern Methodist University’s Asian Studies Program. He is a director of Diodes and Zeevo.
Lu has a Bachelor of Science degree from the National Cheng King University in Taiwan and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University.
Lu has received the National Asian American Corporate Achievement Award from the Organization of Chinese Americans and the American Heritage Award from the American Immigration Law Foundation. He was one of the founding members of the Computing Information Resources Association. Lu has served on the Texas Tech University Department of Electrical and Computing Engineering Industrial Advisory Board and received the Texas Tech University Distinguished Engineer Award in 1996.
Lu and his wife, Oan-Yu Lu reside in Plano, Texas, and have two children.
