John Racz
Established in 1939, the Texas Tech Foundation supports and promotes all colleges, schools, programs and campuses of the Texas Tech University System.
John Racz joined the Texas Tech Foundation Board of Directors in 2005. He is retired from Exxon, having spent 37 years in the corporation working for refining management.
Since retirement, Racz has worked with numerous nonprofit organizations in the Hill Country/Highland Lakes area. He serves on the Texas Tech University Hill Country Board of Advisors and served on the Board of the Hill Country Higher Education Foundation, which supports the Texas Tech University Highland Lakes (Marble Falls) teaching site.
He is married to Barbara Peck Racz.
