Gary Collins, R.Ph., M.S., has more than 39 years experience in the field of health care and is a licensed pharmacist in the state of Texas. He has been responsible for the leadership of a wide array of health care organizations ranging from acute care pharmacy practices to a nationwide consulting company.

Collins spent 13 years in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps in a variety of assignments ranging from practice to management positions in the Food and Drug Administration. He invested another 12 years building out the pharmacy services for the Baylor University Medical Center’s pharmacy department and six years establishing a pharmacy consulting company as an integral part of the second largest pharmaceutical distribution company in the U.S., AmerisourceBergen.

Collins spent four years as an academic associate dean and associate professor for the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy. He currently serves as the managing director of consulting services for a pharmacy-focused, national consulting company.
