Fern “Missy” Finck
Established in 1939, the Texas Tech Foundation supports and promotes all colleges, schools, programs and campuses of the Texas Tech University System.
Fern Lee “Missy” Finck is owner of the Rocking Chair Ranch and Las Encinas Ranch.
Finck, who graduated from Texas Tech University in 1971 with a degree in horticulture, is a member of the Texas Tech University System Chancellor’s Council and has been recognized for her contributions to Texas Tech with membership in the Matador Society and the Spur Society.
Finck is involved with organizations throughout the San Antonio community, including the San Antonio Zoological Society, San Antonio Botanical Society, San Antonio Battle of Flowers Association, San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Humane Society of Bexar County/SPCA, San Antonio Conservation Society, Witte Museum, Los Compadres de San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and the Kendalia Volunteer Fire Department.
