Debra Hjalmquist Scioli

Debra Hjalmquist Scioli is a community volunteer in Lubbock, Texas, who is actively involved with Literacy Lubbock, Wheels for Meals, CASA of the South Plains, and the National Charity League.

Previously, Scioli worked as a sales representative for Philip Morris USA and as a territory sales supervisor for M&M/Mars, a division of Mars. She was actively involved with the Lubbock Independent School District as a parent volunteer, and she has served as president of the parent-teacher association for Rush Elementary School and Mackenzie Middle School. She has also served as a board member of the Lubbock Crosby Garza Medical Alliance, Texas Tech Museum League, The Vatican Exhibits Foundation, Lubbock Symphony Guild and Texas Tech Club.

Scioli graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a bachelor of business administration degree. She is a member of La Sociedad de la Espuela, the Texas Tech University System Chancellor’s Council and the Red Raider Club.

Scioli is married to Dr. Mark Scioli, an orthopaedic surgeon practicing in Lubbock, and is the proud mother of Mark William, a 2012 graduate of Texas Tech University, and Jacqueline Paige, a junior at Southern Methodist University.
