Billie Ruth “Bitsy” Stone
Established in 1939, the Texas Tech Foundation supports and promotes all colleges, schools, programs and campuses of the Texas Tech University System.
Billie Ruth “Bitsy” Stone is a former volunteer coordinator for Hospice of San Angelo, Texas, and a former school teacher.
Stone is a Kappa Kappa Gamma alumna and serves on the boards of the West Texas Rehabilitation Center, San Angelo Community Medical Center and Fairmount Cemetery. She is president of Friends of Fairmount.
Stone is also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in San Angelo. She is married to Hugh L. Stone III, a rancher, and they have two grown sons, Lamar and Preston, and two grandchildren.
