Alan D. Brown
Established in 1939, the Texas Tech Foundation supports and promotes all colleges, schools, programs and campuses of the Texas Tech University System.
Alan D. Brown, managing director and prinicipal of Sowell & Co., has served on the Texas Tech Foundation board of directors since 2001.
After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, he received his M.B.A. from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia.
Brown has served on the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Advisory Council. He is a member of the Texas Tech University System Investment Advisory Committee, the Chancellor’s Council and the Red Raider Club. Brown is also chairman of Sergeant’s Pet Care Products Company in Omaha, Nebraska.
