For game day and every day
Enhancing our athletic facilities
Whether watching the Masked Rider take the field at full gallop or holding your breath for the game-winning shot, our athletic facilities witness the most memorable moments in Texas Tech sports. Best-in-class competition and training facilities recruit top student-athletes and deliver an unrivaled game day experience for our fans.
Impacting the total athletic experience
From student-athlete recruitment to fan engagement, first-class competition spaces and training facilities make a meaningful difference in every part of our athletic programs by providing:
- Significant advantages for recruiting prospective student-athletes from across the nation
- Critical medical and training facilities to ensure our student-athletes are at the top of their game
- Immersive and engaging game day experiences for our alumni and fans
- Opportunities to host championship events and attract national media coverage to Texas Tech
A comprehensive plan for the next decade
In 2012, Texas Tech University evaluated all sporting venues and athletic facilities and created a plan for a series of 28 new and expanded facilities.
For many of these buildings, these will be the most significant improvements undertaken since they were originally built. Such substantial upgrades will improve team facilities, modernize sports medicine areas and provide new fan amenities, setting the stage for the next decade.
